Vegan Cheesy Crackers

 

 

Hi there! The chilly weather has me craving for comfort foods over salad, so I crafted up these crunchy, cheesy and moorish crackers and a tomato salsa to win over the salad lover in you (and me!). Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!- Until my next post, stay safe, wash your hands, don’t touch your face and enjoy these addictive little delights.Trust me, you’ll keep coming back for just one more! Ingredients


1 cup gluten-free brown flour mix
1 tbsp NOMU poultry rub
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 flaxseed egg
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
3 tbsp melted coconut oil ⁣⁣
Salt & Pepper to taste⁣⁣

 

Method

 

1. Preheat the oven to 150oC and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl, stir well (it might be easier to use your hands).
3. Dump out your cracker dough onto your baking paper.
4. Roll thin and cut crackers into desired shapes (I like to roll the dough between two sheets of parchment paper to get it super thin).Sprinkle with sea salt.
5. Bake for 10-15 minutes. Halfway, turn over the crackers to get an even golden crisp colour on each side.⁣⁣
6. Serve alongside tomato salsa, guacamole or hummus. The messier the better!
