Carrot & Turmeric Soup By



We are in for a treat! has kindly agreed to share their delicious recipes with our Wellness Fingerprint readers. This wonderfully heartwarming immune booster soup is the perfect antidote to the fall chill and the recent flu outbreak.



1 tbsp coconut oil
6 carrots (washed and peeled)
1 white onion
2 cloves garlic (chopped finely)
1 thumb fresh ginger (or 1 tsp ground)
1 cup vegetable stock
½ cup orange juice
1 can coconut milk
1 tbsp Silan Date Syrup




Dice the onion and carrots. Shallow fry on a medium heat in coconut oil. Add the turmeric, garlic and ginger until cooked through. Add and the stock and allow to simmer for 25min. Add the coconut milk and blend until smooth. Top with seeds, micro herbs and seasoning. Serve with warm rye or sourdough bread.
