Black Bean Chocolate Brownies



Hi, Thanks for sticking around for my posts and stories. To my new followers, I hope you like them! Just like before, I love reading your messages and feedback, so let me know if you like this new recipe by hitting reply (or shoot a DM) after trying it out.



1 1/2 cups cooked, rinsed and drained black beans
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/4 cup macadamia butter
2 tbsp ground flaxseed
1 cup melted vegan dark chocolate
1/3 tsp cinnamon powder
1/3 cup date syrup
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp tamari
1 tsp of fresh lemon juice
1 tsp coconut sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp almond or coconut milk
1/2 cup to 2/3 cup chocolate chips




1. Preheat oven to 170oC.
2. Add all ingredients except chips in a blender, and pulse until smooth.
3. Stir in the chips, then pour batter into a lined baking pan and spread evenly.
4. Bake for 15 minutes.
4. Allow to cool. Inevitably, several will find their way into your mouth!
